AADN:
How did you get into the arts?
Medusa:
Since we were children, we have loved music! I (Samanta) used to dance and sing at my primary school, I was invited to many shows! Sebastian on the other hand was very interested in the guitar and used to see the guitar at home and play with it!
AADN:
What peeked your interest in music?
Medussah:
Music was everything. At home we used to listen to Queen, Pink Floyd and other artists that influenced us! I ( Samanta) received castanets as a gift from Spain and I love to dance and do rhythms with them.
AADN:
How has the road to become a musical duo been for you? Are there challenges you have experienced?
Medussah:
I think music has challenges, you need to be very patient and find your own sound and voice. Also, believe in yourself.
AADN:
What inspired you two to form a musical duo?
Medussah:
Our passion for music.
AADN:
Are there any future projects you are looking forward to that you would like to share?
Medussah:
Yes, we are working on our second album and we want to release the album we did during the pandemic.
AADN:
Is there any part of your career as a musician that you enjoy the most?
Medussah:
We mostly enjoy travelling to new places, meeting new people, and cultures.
AADN:
Is there an end goal you would like to achieve in your musical career?
Medussah:
Yes, we would love to perform in big festivals and tour around the world.
AADN:
How do you feel your culture has influenced the way you approach the art you produce?
Medussah:
In our culture music has a significant value: music it’s a part of life. The ancient tribes used music to celebrate the harvest season, to celebrate the sun and the stars. Music is sacred.
